Cosmetic Surgery in Turkey

I just got back from my trip to Turkey for cosmetic revision surgery—breast augmentation and corrections to the rhinoplasty I had done four years ago in the U.S.  When I smiled, my nose was crooked, and it was hard to breathe on one side.  My doctor in the U.S. wasn’t interested in redoing the surgery—he said I was too picky, and my nose was fine.  But it didn’t feel right, and it didn’t look right and I wanted it corrected.

For anyone interested in this type of surgery and can’t afford to have it done in the U.S., I highly recommend my surgeon, Dr. Emekli and Anadolu Medical Center.  WorldMed Assist made the whole process very easy for me. I can’t thank them enough.

I checked out having both surgeries done in the U.S., and found that it would cost me $18,000 in New York.  I checked a few other states, and found the range was pretty much the same everywhere, so I started investigating going overseas.

After looking at a few other websites, I chose WorldMed Assist (www.worldmedassist.com) because I felt very comfortable with all our discussions and their guidance.  Their services were great, and I was completely comfortable with the whole process from start to finish.  The medical costs PLUS my travel expenses were less than half what I’d have to pay in the U.S.

During the conference call with my surgeon before I left, I was impressed with how observant and thorough he was.  He was confident that everything I wanted to accomplish was achievable.

Throughout my stay in Turkey I was treated very well by everyone from Anadolu Medical Center in Istanbul.  I was amazed at the friendliness and warmth of the people. They made me feel very comfortable, and if I needed anything, all I had to do was ask. The nurses were very attentive.  English was never a problem.

The hospital was brand new, incredibly clean, and beautiful—it didn’t look at all like a U.S. hospital. The inside was very modern, with lots of art and wide hallways. My room looked out onto the sea. One of the managers at the hospital toured me around the city, and one day I walked from my hotel to a church built in the 4th century.

I’m healing really fast.  In fact, it’s now less than two weeks after the surgery and no one can even see the scar on my nose.  The scars under my breasts are fading quickly. My mom is so impressed with the outcome and my overall experience that she is next to go.

Thank you WorldMed Assist,
